To define, develop, and advance the use of engineering best practices;
To expand the scientific and technical knowledge;
To conduct research and development on fire related sciences, and;
To educate the community in order to reduce business losses and possible loss of lives due to fire

To advance the art and science of the protection engineering and its called fields,
